FRIDAY FEATURE: 2ndLt Bozelli embarked on a journey to become a United States Marine Corps Officer in 2016. Despite initially not being selected, he continued to work towards a his goal of earning a commission. In May 2020, his commitment paid off. In his own words, “If I had to summarize my journey or get into what I think it takes to become a Marine Officer I’d say that you don’t have to be the fastest, strongest, or even the smartest candidate at OCS. Yes, being physically and mentally fit are equally important, but what’s going to carry you through is resiliency. You have to have the heart. When you’re faced with adversity, do you cut and run? Or do you step up and carry on with the mission? That’s what they’re looking for at OCS, and that’s what it’s going to take to earn your bars.”

Few can be Marines, even fewer can lead them. Can you?
