"TCE has primarily been focused on pollution and water abuse tied to oil, gas, LNG, and petrochemical production in our region. But the bigger issue connecting all of these fights is water."
"We believe water should serve people and communities first. Water should not be used as an unchecked resource to fuel industrial expansion, especially in our region which is experiencing record breaking drought. That’s why we share solidarity with communities organizing around data centers and other high-volume water industrial projects."
"It’s also why we support the Fair Water Amendment in Corpus Christi. Our city is asking residents to conserve and face fines while at the same time high volume water users can opt out. We have to stop giving drought exemptions and special treatment to massive water users whether it’s LNG facilities, plastics producers, or data centers. We have to ask our ourselves why would be continue to write checks for water that we can’t cash."

Polluting corporations are receiving HUGE tax breaks to generate a small number of expensive jobs... and no one's sure whether or not they're fulfilling their job creation obligations.
