Things that are in the GOP COVID-19 package:

- $8 billion in funding for specific weapons purchases, including $686 million for F-35 fighter jets.

- $1.75 billion for a new FBI building at the site of its current headquarters in Washington, D.C.

- A scheme to create a commission that would lead to severe cuts in Social Security benefits.

Things not in the package:

- Assistance for folks who lost health insurance

- Extension on eviction moratorium

- Funding for election safety

- Safety protections for workers

Who exactly is this bill for? COVID-19 is far-reaching and impacts our society widely. What does it not impact? Weapons, the FBI building, and Social Security.

Don't fall for it when they say Dems are stonewalling. We need an actual package that helps actual Americans.
