All are invited to come to enjoy the rich cultural offerings of this Slavic holiday, where there will be music, food, colorful costumes, games, and more. This event is FREE and family-friendly. There will be Puppets theater, live music, dance, and fire show!
If you want to see how Slavic Mardi Gras Maslenitsa was celebrated, be sure to watch the movie "The Barber of Siberia," (Sibirskiy Tsirlyunik). The plot undergoes a wonderful twist during a raucous Maslenitsa celebration in Moscow.
Tsygansky Duet is a performance duo from Russian Federation and Turkmenistan.
The duo represents and promotes their Russian Romany roots by performing original dance and musical compositions based on traditional and nontraditional music derives from different Rromani ( Tsygankyaya ) cultures and the Balkans.
