SOME CLARIFICATION on "I Object":
By checking " I OBJECT" on the "Protest Form" #C14-2018-0079:
DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU ARE AGAINST HAVING AN EXPANDED Asian American Cultural Center in our neighborhood.
#C14-2018-0079 is specifically about:
CHANGING THE CURRENT ZONING of the land from having 30' high buildings to ALLOWING BUILDING TO REACH UP TO 60 FEET HIGH.
Current Zoning: "LO" or 3 stories high or 30' high.
AACC's proposed zoning: Building up to 60' high.
AN EXPANDED AACC: YES!
95% of our neighborhood, Raintree Estates, and our community at large is for an expanded AACC.
==> HOWEVER, KEEPING THE LAND CURRENTLY ZONED AS 'LO", or just 3 stories high.
By checking "I OBJECT" in no way means that you are against having an expanded AACC in our neighborhood.
The Raintree Estates neighborhood and the Neighborhood Wide Alliance group is helping to educate and spread the word about this proposal. There were only 15 people at the 10-10-2018 meeting.
Once again, we offered to Amy Mok (owner) to help spread the word and get more people attending her open house.
Amy has another OPEN HOUSE at the Asian American Cultural Center:
