Joy for Seniors is our year-round initiative to bring joy to the lives of disabled seniors in our community.

As part of our program, we bring the Austin community into low-income nursing facilities by way of local artists and volunteers. This is crucial for a community of residents who lack the mobility and transportation to get out into the city on their own.

Calling all Austin Artists & Creatives!🎨✨��Ready to grow your creative practice and make a real difference in your community? We’re looking for passionate 2-D and 3-D artists, crafters, and arts educators for our upcoming 15-week Professional Development Residency.

This is a professional launchpad where you will gain specialized training to lead arts programs for seniors and older adults with disabilities, combining your talent with community impact.

What’s in it for you?
🔹Hands-on training in community-based arts and facilitation

🔹Professional mentorship and support
🔹$1,500 stipend upon completion

🎨 Apply for our 15-week paid residency program. You’ll receive specialized training, mentorship, and a $1,500 stipend to lead this impactful work. Deadline to apply is March 20th.
