* Consideration of an HPNA statement supporting Neighborhood Conservation Combining Districts (NCCDs) and a Board of Adjustment (BOA) appeal (Case No. C15-2026-0005).
The item concerns interpretation and enforcement of NCCD regulations in relation to a development at 205 E. 34th Street in the North University NCCD. The proposed statement supports efforts to ensure compliance with adopted NCCD standards and a transparent public review process.
A brief presentation will be provided at the meeting, followed by discussion and a vote.

Join us for our upcoming HPNA General Meeting. We’ll be discussing and voting on the proposed budget, sharing an update on the Elisabet Ney Neighborhood Challenge Campaign, hearing from new neighborhood business owners, and discussing development transparency concerns related to 205 E 34th Street.

We’ll also have time for announcements and brief candidate statements.

Thanks to the more than 800 guests touring six homes in November 9th's Hyde Park Historic Homes Tour. We're grateful to our homeowners, our sponsors, and our many volunteers who worked hard to make this annual event a success.

This year's tour took place on the 50th anniversary of the very first Homes Tour in 1975, making our success this year particularly memorable. Proceeds from the event will help the all-volunteer Hyde Park Neighborhood Association serve the community.

Today (11/9) is the Hyde Park Historic Homes Tour. Buy tickets only at 4001 Speedway (Trinity Church). Advance ticket holders should go to check in first there, too. Tour six historic Hyde Park homes from 11am - 5pm. Plan for a 2-3 hour, self-guided walking event. Tour booklet and entry wristbands provided at Tour check in.
