6th Brigade joins the Texas State Guard and our nation in solemn remembrance of the lives lost, the courage shown, and the sacrifices made on Sept. 11, 2001. We will never forget. 🇺🇸

Never Forget.
On September 11, 2001, our nation was attacked. Nearly 3,000 innocent lives were taken in New York, at the Pentagon, and in a field in Pennsylvania. Families were forever changed. First responders ran toward danger. Ordinary Americans showed extraordinary courage.

We remember them today with reverence.

We honor the firefighters, police officers, emergency medical personnel, and military members who answered the call that morning and in the years that followed. We honor every service member who has stood watch since that day. We honor the families who still carry the loss.

The Texas State Guard stands with our fellow Texans and with all Americans in solemn remembrance. Our mission remains what it has always been: to serve, to stand ready, and to protect those we are sworn to defend.

May we never forget the lives lost.

May we never forget the courage shown.

May we never forget the duty that day placed upon all of us.

Duty First. Texas Always.
