Hiring a mover in Texas? Make sure they’re properly registered. Legitimate movers are required by TxDMV to maintain an active certificate of registration and display a valid USDOT number, to help protect consumers.

Verify a mover before moving day by using the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles Truck Stop database: https://apps.txdmv.gov/apps/mccs/truckstop/
