Ave H Free Library

When we put the library up we had a really nice black book that neighbors put comments, thank you's, poems, etc. in.

And it was really nice until someone took the book! :). The one thing we wanted to keep in the library. Funny story...

Anyway, we got a really nice Thank You note along with this book recently. Thanks Kristi! You are most welcome.

You may notice a bowl that's filled with pecans right by the library. They are fresh and falling from our pecan tree all the time. Please feel free to take some if you like!

You might notice that the wood the library is made out of looks like hardwood flooring and that's because it is! :)

We had a major flood a few months after moving into north loop and decided to create a library out of the flooring that had to be torn out.
