🎉 Cheers to 62 years of community and impact! 🎉

For more than six decades, volunteers, donors, partners, staff, and supporters have come together to help our neighbors access housing, food, education, employment, and tailored services that support stability and well-being.

Thank you for being part of this journey. Your generosity and commitment make this work possible, and we're grateful to continue building a stronger, more vibrant Austin together.

🌈Happy Pride Month! 🌈

At Caritas of Austin, we believe that everyone deserves a safe place to call home and the chance to thrive. This month, we proudly celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and stand together in creating a welcoming environment where all our neighbors are valued and supported.

Together, let’s build a future where everyone experiences stability, belonging, and the opportunities they need to flourish!

: Meet Jacqueline! 💙

After retiring, Jacqueline joined our Community Kitchen as a volunteer this January and quickly found a new way to stay connected to her community.

When asked what she thinks about volunteering, she says it “is her jam!”

We are so grateful for Jacqueline’s energy, care, and the joy she brings to serving our neighbors across Austin!

Homelessness is more than what you see.

Housing instability and mental health are closely linked, each shaping the other in ways that often go unseen. Stable housing creates the foundation for long-term well-being for our neighbors.

Some things are harder to say out loud.
But being heard can make all the difference.

At Caritas of Austin, support starts with listening. Our case managers walk alongside our neighbors as they work toward stability, offering guidance, consistency, and real connection every step of the way.

Be part of that support. Donate or volunteer today.

POV: You went from surviving every day to finally having room to think about your future.

Having a home means being able to rest at the end of the day. Having a warm meal brings comfort and consistency. Support from a case manager means having someone in your corner during difficult moments.

That’s the kind of impact your support helps make possible every day. 💙
