ARCIT is a member based entity, uniting rural & small communities in Texas in creating a unified voic

ARCIT is made up of rural communities throughout Texas including, cities, counties economic development corporations, chambers of commerce, and utility districts within these regions. With over 200 members, and growing, ARCIT offers a strong voice and resource to the Texas State Legislature, Texas State Agencies and the Federal Government to promote the best practices of rural policies and programs while enhancing the quality of life for all rural Texans.

Governor Greg Abbott encouraged Texas water suppliers to apply for over $1 billion in grants from the Texas Water Development Board's Water Supply & Infrastructure Grant program.

These grants will ensure Texas' water supply is secured for generations to come.

The Texas Water Development Board is now accepting applications for Water Supply and Infrastructure Grants (WSIG). These grants provide 100% funding for eligible water supply and infrastructure projects.
