All available Austin Energy crews are responding to outages following severe weather that brought heavy rain, lightning and high winds to the service area.

There are currently multiple outages affecting customers across our service area. Crews will continue restoration efforts throughout the night. Austin Energy restores power by prioritizing repairs that will bring the greatest number of customers back online first, then addressing smaller and more complex outages. Many of the remaining outages are small, complex repairs that can take longer to restore.

Never touch a downed power line. Stay at least 35 feet away. If a line is sparking, call 911. To report a downed power line or outage, call 512-322-9100.

You can also report outages by texting OUT to 287846 or visiting outagemap.austinenergy.com.

Thank you for your patience.
