Happy hour is back!

Join us Thursday, September 24 at 6 PM at Austin B**r Garden Brewing Co. (1305 W Oltorf St). Drinks and snacks are covered by our sponsor, Pet Meadow, a family-owned pet aftercare provider right here in Austin.

RSVP at avpmg.com/events so we know how many to expect. Each RSVP covers one person, so add your coworkers' names too. Managers, owners, and hospital teams are all welcome.

Thanks to Nicole and the Pet Meadow team for making this one happen. See you there!

Big news: AVPMG has a new home on the web at avpmg.com.

The new site is where everything lives now: who we are, our story going back to 2014, upcoming events with online RSVP, and helpful links for Texas managers.

One thing to do today: join the mailing list at avpmg.com. The old list didn't move with us, so even longtime members need to re-join. It takes twenty seconds, we send a handful of emails a year, and meeting invites always land there first.

And if you have the old avpmg.org bookmarked, delete it. That domain isn't ours anymore.

Welcome to the Austin Veterinary Practice Manager Group!

This is the online home base for Austin's veterinary managers, owners, and hospital teams. We've been meeting quarterly since 2014 to talk about Real Practice Stuff: staffing, inventory, clients, money, and everything else that lands on a manager's desk.

Three things worth doing right now:
1. Join the mailing list at avpmg.com. Meeting invites go there first, and we only send a handful of emails a year.
2. RSVP for the next event at avpmg.com/events.
3. Introduce yourself in the comments: your name, your practice, and how long you've been in vet med.

Questions? Email [email protected].

President, AVPMG

All are welcome to join!

The holidays are coming & we thought that a holiday gift exchange would be a fun new twist! Since we have so many managers who are not able to make events always we found Elfster as a great way to spread some cheer to each other through the mail!

If you would like to join, please sign up & make a wish list so that you can get a gift & send someone a gift. We set a limit of $40.00, everything can be done online, & names will be drawn on December 1st!
