Putting good ideas to work is what we do best.

The ECPR Texas team joined the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country’s Summit 2026: Deep in the Heart to talk about two things we know well: making your message matter and being ready when the unexpected happens.

Our team shared practical strategies for marketing on a limited budget and navigating crisis communications, giving nonprofit leaders tools they can take back and put to work for their organizations.

A big thank you to the Community Foundation for inviting us to be part of the day and to the nonprofit leaders who joined the conversation.

We loved sharing the room with people who are committed to making an impact across the Texas Hill Country.

This month, we’re proud to partner with to amplify its work to fight hunger across our state.

To help bring the mission to life, we created a special package featuring information about Feeding Texas’ work, branded goodies and everything needed to gather around the table for a pasta dinner.

The need is significant: 1 in 5 Texans faces food insecurity. This Hunger Action Month, each of us can play a role in creating change.

Here are three ways to take action:
🥫 Donate food or funds to your local food bank.
🙌 Volunteer your time with a hunger relief organization in your community.
📣 Share resources and information to help more Texans understand the realities of hunger and how they can help.

When Texans show up for Texans, small actions can add up to meaningful impact.

This semester, we had the opportunity to work alongside two incredible interns, Salma Medina Pow and Sophie Webster. Their creativity, professionalism and energy made a lasting impact on our team, and we’re excited to see what’s ahead for both of them.

Salma is heading into her senior year at UT Austin, where she will serve as President of Texas PRSSA and continue supporting students through Texas Student Media, while growing her experience in public relations and communications.

Sophie is spending the summer traveling before returning to UT Austin this fall as Co-Chair of Camp Texas and joining the Texas Media and Analytics program during her senior year.

We’re grateful for the time, talent and perspective they brought to ECPR Texas, and we can’t wait to see all they accomplish next.

We are honored to be recognized on the national stage!

Selected from more than 900 entries, ECPR Texas was named the 2026 Social Impact Agency of the Year and received a Certificate of Excellence in Crisis and Issues Engagement at the Innovation SABRE Awards North America.

The recognition highlights our work supporting the Community Foundation of the Texas Hill Country and the Kerr County Flood Relief Fund, and reinforces the critical role communications plays in helping communities recover, rebuild and move forward.

Our team was honored earlier this week in New York alongside some of the industry’s leading communications professionals.
