⚠️ The Lake Travis ISD Police Department will host Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training (ALERRT) for school-based law enforcement officers and other first responders on Tuesday, May 26, and Wednesday, May 27, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm at Bee Cave Elementary School.
🚨 Please note, community members should expect an increased presence of law enforcement vehicles and personnel on campus during training hours. This is only a training exercise.
👉 Training like ALERRT helps first responders strengthen coordination, preparedness, and response protocols to help keep our schools and community safe.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15 as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15 falls, as National Police Week. Established by a joint resolution of Congress in 1962, National Police Week pays special recognition to those law enforcement officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty for the safety and protection of others.
At Lake Travis ISD Police Department, we take this week to remember all those that paid the ultimate sacrifice, answering the call.
Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers out there!
