Monday, October 12th: No School for Students (Parent-Teacher Conferences / Staff Development)

2026 Coats for Kids Coat Request Form / 2026 Formulario para Abrigos para Ninos

Coats for Kids is an annual coat distribution event for school-aged children in the Central Texas community who need a warm winter coat. New and gently used coats will be collected from Nov. 9 to Nov. 30, 2026, across the Austin area, before being cleaned, sorted, and then distributed to students across Austin and surrounding areas!

Coats will be delivered directly to schools and sent home with students during the month of December.

Eligibility: Due to a limited number of coats available, this program is open to students and children ages 18 or younger who meet one of the following criteria:

Qualify for free or reduced lunch

Have a household income below the national poverty line

Have been identified by a teacher or school administrator as needing assistance to obtain a coat

Coat Request Form: The Coat Request Form will be accepted from Oct. 1–16, or until the allotted coat amount per ISD has been met. Please note that coats are distributed on a first-come, first-served basis, and the form may close before Oct. 16.

Form requirements:

An adult must complete the form for each student in need of a coat.

Each student requires a separate form, and only one form per student may be submitted.

You may include up to two siblings under the age of 5 as part of the student submission.

You may start the form by entering your email below.

Coats for Kids es un evento anual de distribución de abrigos para niños en edad escolar de la comunidad del centro de Texas que necesitan un abrigo para el invierno. Se recolectarán abrigos nuevos y en buen estado del 9 al 30 de noviembre de 2026 en toda el área de Austin; posteriormente, se limpiarán, clasificarán y distribuirán entre estudiantes de Austin y sus alrededores!

Los abrigos se entregarán directamente a las escuelas y se enviarán a casa con los estudiantes durante el mes de diciembre.

Elegibilidad: Debido a una cantidad limitada de abrigos disponibles, este programa está abierto a estudiantes y niños de 18 años o menos que cumplan con uno de los siguientes criterios:

Calificar para almuerzo gratuito o reducido

Tener un ingreso familiar por debajo de la línea de pobreza nacional

Haber sido identificado por un maestro o administrador escolar como alguien que necesita ayuda para obtener un Abrigo

Dear Families,

Smile big! Picture Day is coming up on Tuesday, September 29th. We encourage all students to dress to impress for their school photos.

Order forms have been sent home with your child to pre-order pictures. If you would like to purchase a photo package, please keep the following important details in mind:

Read carefully: Review the form thoroughly to choose the package and options that best fit your preferences.

Exact payment required: Place the exact amount inside the envelope. Change cannot be given.

Individual forms per student: Each child in your family must have their own separate order form and envelope with their individual payment to ensure orders are processed correctly.
