VLB Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is proud to introduce the next installment of the series highlighting the VLB's Texas Voices of Veterans Program.
This week, we highlight the service of Captain Ebony May, who served in the United States Air Force.
She had tours in Iraq, Kosovo, and Bosnia and served as the contracting officer.
After leaving the Air Force, she received her master's degree in Psychology.
Ms. May continues her service by volunteering much of her time to causes that support military families and community service.

This week, we highlight the service of Jonathan Hernandez, who served in the U.S. Air Force as a Combat Journalist.
He covered stories in Afghanistan during Operation Enduring Freedom and earned the Combat Action Ribbon along with Meritorious Service Awards.

Mr. Adams served from 1985 to 2009 and took part in both Operation Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

This week, we highlight the service of Sergeant Major (SGS) Moritz Friebel who served in the U.S. Army.
Mr. Friebel served in Japan, Korea, and Vietnam as an Administrative Assistant and a Personnel Senior Sergeant before retiring in 1981.

This week, we highlight the service of Sergeant (Sgt) M.C. Clark who served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Clark served as a truck driver and later transitioned to a P.O.W. guard of Germans being held captive in Belgium.

VLB Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is proud to introduce the next installment of the series highlighting the VLB's Texas Voices of Veterans Program.
This week, we highlight the service of Sergeant First Class Larry "Scott" Teakell, who served in U.S. Army during the Iraq/Afghanistan War.
Serving as an Army medic, he did three tours in Iraq, as well as one in Bosnia and Macedonia.
Mr. Teakell was awarded the Soldier's Medal for saving Spc. Heredia from a fuel fire in Iraq in July 2007.

This week, we highlight the service of Sergeant (Sgt.) Ben Carter who served in the U.S. Army during WWII.
Mr. Carter was in the U.S. Army in 1945 and served at both Saipan and Iwo Jima.

This week, we highlight the service of Lieutenant Commander (LCDR) James Bernsen who served in the U.S. Navy During the Iraq/Afghanistan War.
Following the 9/11 attack in New York City, Mr. Bernsen made the decision to join the military.
He served as an Intelligence Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve and did a deployment in Baghdad, Iraq.

VLB Chairwoman Dawn Buckingham, M.D., is proud to introduce the next installment of the series highlighting the VLB's Texas Voices of Veterans Program.
This week, we highlight the service of Commander Chaplain Richmond E. Stoglin, who served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps.
Chaplain Stoglin retired after 22 years and 10 months from the United States Department of Justice, Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center, Fort Worth, Texas, on January 31, 2007.
He served his country in the United States Navy Reserve Chaplain Corps from November 30, 1985, to November 30, 2013, attained the rank of Commander, and was former Regimental Chaplain to the 14th Marines, the largest artillery command in the U.S. Marine Corps.
