A beloved member of our community, Sylvia Collins brought kindness and good cheer along with her fierce passion for Dallas politics.
She was a stalwart advocate, and a dear friend to so many of us. She gave all of herself to make a better world for others.
We will miss her.

House Bill 3121 (Alec's Law) establishes a voluntary quality certification program that allows providers to create a new tier of accredited, accountable residential treatment facilities for youth.
The result: safer options for Texas families and better access to care for young people who need it.
