We want to give a huge thank you to Jonathan Guerrier and Salvation Army of Mahoning County for everything they continue to do for our Austintown Senior Center and our community.

Jonathan gave a wonderful and very informative presentation today, but what we really want to recognize is everything he does beyond days like this.

Through our collaboration with him and The Salvation Army, we have been able to make a tremendous difference in connecting our seniors with resources they may not have otherwise known were available. The impact this partnership has had on our center and the people we serve is something we are incredibly proud of.

Thank for today and all the other days and ways you support our community!

First class of our sign language series! Thank you so much to Austintown Fitch High Schools American Sign Language class for sharing Reghan with us. Fantastic instructor and we already learned so much! Can’t week for week 2.

At the Austintown Senior Center, we know that sometimes the things people need most are the everyday essentials that can be difficult to afford.

Our Care Closet is open and available to anyone in need. We provide personal care items, incontinence supplies, household essentials, and other necessities. There is no judgment. Just help when it’s needed.

A heartfelt thank you to Hollywood Gaming at Mahoning Valley Race Course for their generous donation to our Care Closet. Your support helps us keep these important items available for members of our community.

Everyone deserves dignity and support. And no one should have to go without the basics.
