💙💛 PLEASE KEEP PATROLMAN AUSTIN KAPURELOS AND HIS FAMILY IN YOUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS 💛💙
The Avalon Police Department along with all Cape May County Law Enforcement Departments and the members of the Cape May County Police Chiefs Association stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters at the Middle Township Police Department as Patrolman Austin Kapurelos continues his fight to recover from the serious injuries he sustained in the line of duty.
On Friday evening, October 16, 2026, Ptl. Kapurelos was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while conducting a motor vehicle stop on Route 47 in Middle Township. He remains in critical but stable condition.

The attached flyer provides information on how you can make a donation to help them through this challenging time. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is a meaningful way to show your support and remind Austin and his loved ones that they are not alone.
