Clinton County Badges of Hope is asking our community to come together and help us make a difference in the lives of children and families right here in Clinton County.

Our mission is to bring joy, hope, and a memorable Christmas experience to local children who may be facing financial hardship. Through the generosity of our community, selected children will have the opportunity to shop for clothing, winter necessities, Christmas gifts, and other needed items.

💙 We are seeking donations from:

• Businesses located throughout Clinton County
• Businesses that serve or do business in Clinton County
• Local organizations, civic groups, and community partners
• Individuals and families who would like to help
• Anyone who simply wants to make a difference in the life of a local child

No donation is too small. Every dollar donated stays focused on helping children and families living in Clinton County.

This program is about more than Christmas gifts. It is about neighbors helping neighbors, supporting families during difficult times, and showing our children that their community cares about them.

🇺🇸 COME CELEBRATE OUR VETERANS! 🇺🇸

Join us Monday, August 31 for a special Veterans Celebration Day honoring those who have taken—or will be taking—an Honor Flight in 2026. ✈️ A short program begins at 11:00 AM and is open to the public.

❤️🤍💙 Then help us send them off! Veterans depart the museum around 12:45 PM, traveling through Carlyle, Beckemeyer, Breese, Aviston, and Trenton. Line the streets, wave your flags, bring your family, and cheer them on

As our students return to school tomorrow, let’s be mindful of all pedestrians and motorists. Use caution as you navigate around the school area and don’t block driveways and intersections. Pay attention to the yellow painted curbs and be patient.

The new school year is right around the corner and for many kids, the school day begins and ends with a trip on a school bus. 🚍 🏫

Congrats State Champs!

The Aviston Express claim the 2026 Championship. They head to the Great Lakes Regional sitting at 24-2-1.
