We are committed to transparency as a means to ensure our budget processes are open, and we maintain fiscal responsibility. Following Science
We strongly support listening to public health experts when dealing with public health crisis. Keeping our children alive and well is of utmost priority in our community, and we will do what is necessary in a crisis to ensure our children are safe and healthy. We are committed to mitigating a situation by doing what’s rational, reasonable, and what is gifted to us by science. We strive for vibrant, well-planned town development that will keep Avon a desirable place to live, work, raise a family, and retire. We aim to lead by listening in order to make Avon the inclusive community we all want. The best way for us to champion Avon for all residents is by hearing what they have to say and using that feedback to make sound decisions. Environmental Innovation. We seek to preserve open space and promote environmental innovation. We want Avon to be at the forefront of preserving open spaces and expanding outdoor recreational opportunities. Avon Democrats are working to make our wonderful town even better by fostering a kind, inclusive community with cultural events and initiatives like the Democrat-led Avon Cares fundraiser.
