25 Years Later...We Remember
We remember the nearly 3,000 people who lost their lives that day, including the 343 firefighters and 23 NYPD officers who made the ultimate sacrifice while responding to the attacks.
We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the families, friends, and communities who were forever changed.
For those of us in the fire service, September 11th is a reminder of what it means to answer the call, to run toward danger when others are running away, and to stand beside our brothers and sisters when they need us most.
We also remember the countless first responders who became sick in the years that followed and those who continue to carry the lasting effects of that day.
25 years later, we will never forget.
🇺🇸 Remember the fallen. Honor the heroes. Never forget.
