Four years ago, the CORE Celebration began as a way to recognize the essential employees who keep our campuses running every day. From custodial, facilities and maintenance, transportation, to warehouse and food service, our CORE team members are the backbone of our district.

This year, Governing Board Member Sarah Silk, Chief Innovation Officer Rachel Gross, and Superintendent of Operations Tom Huffman shared heartfelt words of appreciation for the dedication and care our CORE employees bring to our schools every day.

The Freshman Career Expo will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at Phoenix Raceway, allowing students to explore career pathways and connect their future goals to real-world opportunities.

Heads up, AFHSD community! Our summer schedule starts June 1st.

We’ll be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM. Since hours are adjusted, please reach out ahead of time.

Appointments are highly recommended!

On May 24, 2026, former Agua Fria High School District Special Education Director Coach Ron Scott was inducted into the Arizona Baseball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, surrounded by current Agua Fria staff members Nick Swanson, Patrick Becker, Claudia Weiss, Mike Bostwick, and Nora Munoz, along with former players and families.

The Agua Fria High School District proudly congratulates Coach Ron Scott on this outstanding and well-deserved honor!
