🖍️ Calling all young artists! Azle Municipal Court is excited to host its 6th Annual Coloring Contest for Azle students in daycare through 5th grade!

Return your child’s completed coloring page to Municipal Court at 505 W. Main St. by 5 p.m. on November 6. You can download it here: https://tinyurl.com/azlecoloringcontest

Please include the following on the back:
• Participant’s name, age, grade and school
• Parent/guardian’s name and phone number

🏆 We’ve rounded up some awesome prizes that your kiddos will definitely want to get their hands on, so don't miss out! Winners will be contacted and invited to the November 17 City Council meeting for recognition.

𝑨𝒛𝒍𝒆 𝑯𝒂𝒍𝒍𝒐𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒏 🎃 We want to let everyone know ahead of time that the Azle Police Department will not be closing streets in the Azlewood addition for Halloween this year. We have several other neighborhoods we need to cover that evening, along with our normal calls for service throughout the city, and we simply don’t have the personnel to block off streets in one area.

We understand this may be disappointing for some families, and that it may change how you plan your evening. Our goal is to give everyone as much notice as possible so parents can make whatever arrangements they feel are best to keep their kids safe while trick or treating.

Officers will still be out in the area and across the city, and we’ll be keeping an eye on things as usual. We appreciate everyone’s understanding and cooperation.

🍂 Seasonal leaf collection begins Saturday, November 21!

Gather your leaves, place them in paper or plastic bags, and have them at the curb by 7 a.m. Bags must be separated from household trash and weigh no more than 50 pounds each.

Additional collection dates are December 5, 12 and 19. Christmas tree recycling will take place January 2 and 9. Trees must be cut into 4-foot sections, and all bags, ornaments and loose items must be removed.

Our Mayor, Council members and City leadership joined in on the Homecoming Parade fun! Our Council members are involved all over Azle, so naturally, they were all over the parade lineup, too!

Always a good day to be a Hornet. 😊

📣 HERE IT IS, FOLKS! Registration is NOW OPEN for Azle’s annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway! 🌳

We’re celebrating 5 years of growing a greener Azle with 100 trees for residents living inside the city limits! An Azle mailing address or living in Azle ISD doesn’t automatically qualify. 😉

🌱 This year’s lineup: Red Oak, Bur Oak, Live Oak, Vitex, Chinese Pistache and Cedar Elm.

🚚 These are BIG trees! Our 15-gallon trees can stand 8–10 feet tall and weigh 50–80 pounds. Make sure you have a vehicle that can handle one.

✅ Just like last year, successful registration guarantees you a tree. Tree selection is first come, first served on pickup day. For the best selection, arrive at the scheduled start time.

Registration for our annual Arbor Day Tree Giveaway opens TODAY at 4pm!

The giveaway is open to residents living inside Azle city limits, and registration spots are first come, first served.
