🐝 Student Voice. Real Impact. Better Forte.

Today, we brought together 24 of our Hornets — 8 students from each grade level — for our first Student Roundtable of the school year! 🗣️

These students were nominated by their teachers because they’re involved in campus life, aren’t afraid to share their opinions, and bring a variety of perspectives to the table.

From how they learn best to their thoughts on having less technology in the classroom (and plenty in between!), we had some great conversations and heard some honest feedback.

We walked away with some fantastic ideas and valuable insight into how we can continue to make Forte an even better place for our students. Because if we want to create the best experience for our kids, we need to listen to the kids themselves! 💚

🏈💚 It takes a community to support our Hornets! 💚🏈

Not every student has someone available to bring them a hot meal before a game, but thankfully, we have a community that cares deeply about making sure our kids are taken care of! 🐝

Thanks to the generosity of our amazing community, the Forte Junior High Football program was able to stock up on plenty of snacks to help make sure our boys are fed and ready to hit the field! These acts of kindness may seem small to some, but they make a BIG difference for our students. 💚

A special shoutout to our local Brookshire’s for donating a gift card and to the Fabela family for organizing the donation and contributing as well! We also want to recognize the Betz family and Garcia family, who have generously donated in the past. Your continued support means so much to our athletes and our program!

We are grateful to live in a community that shows up for our kids, not just on game day, but in the little things that make sure every student feels supported. Thank you for being part of the team behind the team! 🏈🐝
