Free downtown Bainbridge shuttle starting next month on Saturdays!
Heads up, Bainbridge Islanders! Starting June 13, Kitsap Transit will operate a FREE downtown shuttle on Saturdays during the summer.
This pilot is funded by the City of Bainbridge Island and will operate loops around downtown Winslow, starting and ending at the ferry terminal.

On Tuesday, May 12, a parade few people even knew was happening popped up on Winslow Way. The photographer, tipped off by a neighbor on the way to the ferry, grabbed some Scotch broom and joined in, capturing the wonderfully quirky spirit of this Bainbridge tradition.

From Low Flats to Mountain Peaks
The beach stretches out at Hawley Cove as the tide recedes, providing a perfect foreground for the grand, looming presence of Mount Rainier. Watching the ferry make its way into Eagle Harbor is a quintessentially Bainbridge experience, and a moment worth lingering over.
