🎒 Ninth graders, the first day of school is all about you!

On September 1st, all 9th grade students (plus anyone new to BISD in grades 9–12) arrive at our regular 8:45 a.m. start time for Spartan Start Up at Bainbridge High School or the Eagle Harbor Welcome Event at Eagle Harbor High School.

The morning is set aside just for you: meet staff and fellow students, find your way around the building, and learn how to navigate your school day.

⏰ Grades 10–12 start at 10:45 a.m. that day.

That's a wrap for our incredible 2025-2026 ASB leaders, pictured here with the incoming 2026-2027 ASB team. BHS is grateful for your leadership over the last four years. Your school spirit was infectious, and our school community is better because of your dedication to BHS. We wish you all the best as you embark on new and exciting adventures off the Rock. You will be missed!

This Wednesday, May 20, come meet ARTEMIS, just returned from the Einstein fields at world championships, along with presentations and demonstrations from robotics clubs from across Bainbridge island.

We would love to host you at our annual All-Robotics Open House on May 20th from 5-7 PM, located in the BHS 100 building. Beyond Spartronics, groups from Odyssey, St. Cecilia, and the high school’s Science Olympiad team will be there. This event is great for learners of all ages! We hope to see you there!

We use the Snatoms magnetic molecular modeling kits to give students hands-on experience building and analyzing models of ionic, covalent, and metallic substances. Students use the models to visualize molecular geometry, polarity, bond strength, and intermolecular forces, helping them connect atomic structure and bonding to observable properties such as melting point, conductivity, solubility, and molecular shape. We are extremely grateful to our Bainbridge High School PTSO whose generous support made this purchase possible.

BHS Staff was treated to an incredible "Pasta-palooza" lunch for Staff Appreciation Week. We are so grateful to our PTSO volunteers who take care of us throughout the year, as they did again today. A shout out to Wing Point G&CC, too, for providing the delicious pasta bar!
