It has been a rough couple of months of heat and no moisture. The Exclusion Trap is a good demo showing what growth happens during this time or of rotating pastures. When this trap was setup, it was last time it rained. Did have around 5 inches of growth. When it does rain, it will all moisture to absorb quicker and less runoff/erosion. On the outside, growth is 1 to 2 inches in height from grazing. This project will continue for next several years. Do look at the pictures!!!Most of the grasses in the trap are Texas Wintergrass.
