Christine Drazan Earns Endorsement of Revitalize Portland Coalition
CANBY, Ore. – Gubernatorial candidate Senator Christine Drazan (R-Canby) has earned the
endorsement of the Revitalize Portland Coalition, a real estate collective dedicated to
addressing the challenges of crime, homelessness, declining livability and economic vitality
that have impacted Portland's residents and businesses.
“I believe Portland can once again be one of the best cities in America, where families feel
safe, downtown is full of life and businesses are looking to open their doors instead of
boarding them up,” said Drazan. “I'm committed to restoring public safety, breaking the cycle
of homelessness and addiction and bringing economic vitality back to Portland. I'm grateful
to have the Revitalize Portland Coalition standing with me as we work to make that vision a
reality.”
“Portland and the State of Oregon need new leadership that understands what is at stake for
our downtown, our businesses and the people who call this city home," said Jose Cienfuegos,
Revitalize Portland Coalition Board President. "We believe Christine Drazan understands
the urgency of turning things around, and we're proud to support her in this critical election."

Oregon Republican Party Chair and Deschutes County Resident Connie Whelchel Issues Statement on Silver Rail tragedy.

My heart is absolutely broken for the families and the entire Silver Rail Elementary School community. The loss of innocent children and an educator in a place where they should have been safe is an unimaginable tragedy. To the families who have lost loved ones, there are simply no words that can adequately express our sorrow. We are praying for those fighting for their lives, for their families, and for every child, parent, teacher, and staff member whose lives have been forever changed by today’s horrific events.

Trump’s Top 25 Achievements: The List Every Conservative Should Know and Use

Donald Trump doesn’t have an accomplishment problem. Republicans have an information problem. It’s on each of us to change that.

With the midterms coming, an astonishing number of Republican voters cannot name three things President Trump has accomplished. Which is remarkable when you consider that Donald Trump has accomplished more in a year and a half than any other president ever did in four.

What Midterm Voters Prefer - American Thinker. What will both State and National candidates support if elected

American Thinker: When the voters head to the polls in a little over two weeks, the key battleground states of Alaska, Ohio, Michigan, Iowa, North Carolina, Georgia, Maine, Texas, Kansas, and Nebraska will have a very clear choice about what direction they want to steer the country — for the remainder of President Trump’s term and beyond.

Are they pleased that the Trump administration has not released a single illegal alien from the border into the U.S. interior for 17 straight months, or would they prefer we return to the Biden administration’s open border policy, where U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) recorded an average of roughly 7,500 to 11,000 total border encounters per day?

Are they appreciative that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has arrested more than 10,000 gang members during Trump’s second term, or would they prefer a return to the Biden era, where the Executive Branch views ICE as a Gestapo-like army, that is supposedly rounding up innocent civilians as though it were a sport?

Do the voters like the fact that during Trump’s first year in office, FBI data revealed, the overall national violent crime rate fell by 9.3 percent in 2025 (dropping from 362.9 to 327.6 offenses per 100,000 people), the largest one-year decline since FBI records began in 1936?

Or would they prefer an administration that coddles violent criminals, supports sanctuary jurisdictions, favors no-cash bail, and enables soft-on-crime prosecutors, who seemingly make a determination about whether to prosecute based on whether or not the person who committed the crime belongs to a group that is overrepresented in prison?

Never mind the fact that more lenient sentencing will only incentivize repeat offenders to commit more crimes, particularly in less affluent urban neighborhoods.

But evidently, affirmative action also applies to crime.
When the voters head to the polls, will they remember that President Trump made the 2017 tax cuts permanent, which, contrary to false left-wing talking points, lowered the individual income tax rates for nearly all income brackets, and not just the top income earners?

Will the voters recall that the new Trump Working Families Tax Cuts also provide no tax on tips and no tax on overtime, and permanently locked in and boosted the Child Tax Credit to $2,200 per child?
Or would they have preferred the Biden tax proposal, which would have raised the federal corporate income tax rate from 21 percent to 28 percent and imposed a 25-percent “billionaire minimum tax” on total wealth for households with a net worth over $100 million?

If the answer is an emphatic “yes, tax the rich,” it’s worth pointing out that when you raise the corporate tax rate, it means those “evil corporations” have less money to invest in expansion, leading to slower wage growth, a reduction in hiring, and decreased worker productivity and higher consumer prices.
The same adverse effects can be said of imposing a “billionaires’ tax” on high income earners. They will simply choose to invest less of their money in new ventures or startups that would have otherwise created new jobs and potentially better goods and services for the consumers.

In reality, penalizing the wealthy also harms the middle class.

When the voters head to the polls, will they celebrate that under President Trump, we are once again an energy-dominant country, in which U.S. offshore oil production reached a record high of over 714 million barrels in 2025? Or will they give in to fear-mongering, by politicians who peddle Al Gore–like conspiracies, including the preposterous claim he made in his 2006 documentary that sea levels could rise by 20 feet in the near future if we’re not careful?

For the record, NASA’s satellite calculates that global sea levels have risen by about 4 inches since 1993. Oops.

And although it’s true that the price of gas is still way too high, the highest national average gas price during Biden’s presidency was $5.02 per gallon, while the highest national average gas price during Trump’s second term peaked at $4.54 a gallon this past May.Obviously, the ongoing war with Iran, has not helped matters, as the average price of gas has increased by more than 40 percent since the conflict started.

But having an effective energy policy, which is temporarily being hindered by the attempt to dismantle the nuclear capabilities of a belligerent regime — that poses a significant geopolitical threat — is very different from imposing a misguided energy policy that does little to address “climate concerns” while also harming the economy.

When the voters head to the polls, will they appreciate the billions in waste, fraud, and abuse that the Trump administration has uncovered? Or would they prefer a return to the bloated government contracts with special interest groups and corrupt foreign countries?

Will they remember that our military has been rebuilt and is focused on winning missions, toppling dictators, and having a strong defense capability, as opposed to ensuring that every pronoun feels included on the battlefield?

Will the voters recall this administration’s emphasis on improved dietary guidance that focuses on whole foods, phasing out artificial dyes, and establishing a national chronic-disease prevention agenda, or would they prefer for a return to coercing citizens to take an experimental vaccine or risk losing their job and promoting s*x surgery for minors?

When the voters head to the polls, will they remember to look at the actual voting records of the candidates as opposed to their rhetoric?

Every election cycle, Democrat candidates seem to have a habit of running TV ads bragging about being tough on crime and the border; wanting to lower the costs of gas, groceries, and utility bills; and protecting the sanctity of women’s sports — even when their voting records, prior statements, and actual beliefs reveal that they will do anything but, should they get elected.

Finally, when the voters head to the polls, will they appreciate that we once again have a president who, rather than emphasizing our shortcomings or diminishing our role on the world stage, is deeply proud of this country, chooses to exercise strength, and focuses on how we have been and continue to be a force for good—at home and around the world?

VOTE FOR EXPERIENCE

The Baker County Commissioner contest is extremely important. Selecting the candidate with
extensive life experiences as well as business acumen is an absolute requirement when a $50
million budget has to be managed.

Both candidates are nice individuals and well liked by many in Baker County. However, this is
no time for a popularity contest when so much is at risk. While some support is based on
age, education, or the ability to recite facts and figures, who has the real tangible ability to
get the job done and do it well for the benefit of Baker County citizens. Demonstrated
actions should always outweigh campaign words.

The ballots have been delivered and it is time to initiate critical thinking by selecting who
exemplifies the maturity, steadiness of reason, and historical active involvement to solve the
pressing issues we face.

The elected Baker County Republican Central Committee reviewed both candidates’ resumes.
Even though one candidate is registered as a Republican, it was determined that non-political
party affiliated Kody Justus had those meaningful traits to meet the needs of our citizens.
Thank you for your efforts to research the candidates beyond the brochures and special
interest campaign spending which can be viewed on the Secretary of State ORSTAR website.

Don’t Believe The Polls!
Many polls are designed to make Republicans feel there is no reason to
vote. Do not fall for the left’s propaganda attack via polls.

D on’t believe the polls! Many are designed to make Republicans

feel there is no reason to vote.

Anyone can conduct a poll solely to obtain specific results and have it
picked up by supposedly reliable sources. In the summer, a previously
unknown organization called Median Strategies put out bogus poll results
that were picked up and promoted in our frenzied 24/7 news cycles. In an
admission to the Los Angeles Times, the organization admitted that its
poll “was created as a short-term social experiment examining how
purported polling information could enter and spread through the
political information ecosystem without independent verification.”

That was a doublespeak way of saying, “we lied.”
We hear the word “poll” and assume they are all conducted in a similar
manner. However, some are “push polls,” specifically designed to lead
people toward a desired result. Even supposedly reputable polling
companies often have some push poll objectives. FormPlus explains how
push polls work:
Leading Questions: Instead of phrasing questions neutrally like
“Do you support Candidate A?”, a push poll would ask, “Would
you support Candidate A if you knew they increased tuition fee
by 250%, making tertiary education unaffordable?”
False or Misleading Claims: Some push polls not only steer
opinions but also include outright lies (e.g., “Did you know
Candidate B embezzled funds while serving as governor?”)—
even if there is no evidence that suggests the candidate did it.
Emotional Manipulation: Some push polls also frame their
questions to provoke fear or outrage (e.g., “How concerned are
you that building a factory will contaminate the rural water
supply?”
Poor Sampling: Because these “polls” are not research-driven,
they often contact large numbers of people rapidly, disregarding
proper sampling methods to maximize the spread of their
misleading message.
Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich believes that “fake polling” favoring
Democrats is to keep Republicans depressed so that they don’t vote. He
posted on X:
“Don’t believe the polls. There will be no blue wave. Once again,
fake polling, designed, not to inform but to persuade & suppress
turnout, are misleading voters. I know what I’m talking about. As
a twice elected Dem governor and 3-time elected Dem
Congressman, I never lost an election.”
Let’s be naïve and assume that much of the polling is an honest
assessment of voter intent. The fact is that throughout history “reliable”
polls have been wrong many times:

In 1936, The Literary Digest predicted that Republican Alf Landon
would beat Democrat Franklin D. Roosevelt. FDR won “bigly” with
Landon only winning two states.
In 1948, pollsters predicted that Republican Thomas Dewey would
win the presidential election against incumbent Democrat Harry
Truman. The famous photo of Truman holding the Chicago Daily
Tribune with the headline: “Dewey Defeats Truman.”
On October 18, 2016, the New York Times published a poll that
showed Hillary Rodham Clinton having a 91 percent chance of
winning the election. How many Trump supporters didn’t bother to
vote that year because they erroneously assumed he had no chance
of winning?
The following “reputable” polling services all showed Clinton ahead
in 2016: Monmouth University, Rasmussen, CBS News, UPI/CVoter,
Politico/Morning Consult, ABC News/Washington Post, NBC
News/Wall Street Journal, GWU/Battleground, Fox News, and
Insights West. (Note: the week before Rasmussen had Trump up by 2
points.)
On November 4, 2016, the New York Times offered its final poll
before Election Day: Clinton had an 84 percent chance of winning
the presidency. At this point, all the polling services listed above had
Clinton ahead, with three showing a tie.
We are skipping 2020 because every honest person knows there was fraud
in several states. For instance, President Trump was leading in Georgia by
160,000 votes, and then suddenly a water pipe broke, and some suitcases
came out before the windows were covered. We won’t relive the full
scenario, but Joe Biden got 81 million votes the way Kamala Harris is an
eloquent speaker!
In 2024, multiple polls showed the presidential election would be close,
with the popular vote going to Democrat Kamala Harris. Polls were
wrong, wrong, and wrong! Trump won the electoral college 312 to 226
AND the popular vote by three million votes. Plus, Trump won all seven
swing states! The final national New York Times/Siena poll of likely voters
(October 20-23) showed a tie (48% to 48%). Do the results sound like a tie
to you?

For Democrats to retake Congress, they need “fence-sitting” Republicans
to sit home. That is their goal. In some ways, the midterm elections will
succeed or fail based on Christian turnout. Glenn Beck made it very clear
in a September 22, 2026 “X” post what Christians of faith must do or else
we are giving our country to the progressive/Islamist cabal:
“Earlier this summer, CAIR launched a massive get-out-the-vote
operation targeting 3 million Muslim voters. They are camping
out at mosques in crucial swing states after Friday prayers to
register voters and drive them to the polls.
“Now, all of this is completely legal. I'm not claiming anything
nefarious. But my question is this: Christian pastors, what are
YOU doing about it?
“There are 32 million Christians who go to church every single
Sunday and don't vote. CAIR is hunting for 3 million, and we
have 32 million sitting in our own pews staying home!
“Pastors, stop hiding behind the Johnson Amendment. The law
has never stopped you from putting a registration table in the
lobby or preaching on biblical principles. If you preach that the
culture is collapsing 52 Sundays a year, but you never once tell
your congregation to get out of the pew and go vote, you're not a
shepherd. You're a weatherman. Put a table in the lobby this
Sunday. One volunteer, one clipboard, one laptop. Load up the
church van and drive people to the polls. Stop complaining and
start showing up.”
Seth Dillon, CEO of the Babylon Bee, recently said:
“32 MILLION church-going Christians are ‘unlikely’ to vote in
this election. The last contest was decided by thousands of votes,
not millions. This election is ours if Christians will do their duty
and vote to restrain evil.”
Every vote counts! Look at the Lindsay Clancy trial where one juror
holdout stopped the insanity of allowing a mother who murdered her
three young children to be found not guilty.

Here are a several recent examples where Republicans barely eked out a
win:
2020 -- Iowa's 2nd Congressional District -- Republican
Mariannette Miller-Meeks defeated Democrat Rita Hart by six
votes out of more than 393,000 total votes cast.
2000 -- U.S. Presidential Election -- Republican George W. Bush
defeated Democrat Al Gore in Florida by 537 votes, securing the
state's electoral votes and the presidency after a Supreme Court
ruling.
2024 -- South Carolina 4th Congressional District Primary --
Constitution Party Mark Hackett defeated Michael Chandler 8 to
5 in a Constitution Party primary with only 13 total votes cast.
2022 -- Alaska House of Representatives 13th District --
Republican Kathy Henslee defeated Democrat Andrew
Josephson by one vote.
2024 -- Maine House of Representatives 141st District --
Republican Lucas Lanigan defeated Democrat Patricia Kidder by
one vote.
2024 --cColorado House of Representatives 16th District –
Republican Rebecca Keltie defeated Democrat Stephanie Vigil
by three votes.
Everyone can do something! Get involved by contacting a local
Republican organization and/or your county GOP. GOP Events lets you
click on your state to find out what is happening and how you can
participate with training, voter contact events, election integrity
opportunities, and grassroots organizing events in your area.
Most of all, do not fall for the left’s propaganda attack via polls. Every
person of faith (and this includes Americans of all faiths) who believes in
the United States of America as a constitutional republic must vote
Republican in the 2026 midterm elections. We must also encourage our
family, friends, and neighbors to do the same.
The country we save will be our own.
