“Last night my clothes got out of the wagon & the oxen eat them up & I considered I have met with great loss as it was my woolen dress.” From the diary of Cecelia Adams and Parthenia Blank, twins who crossed the Oregon Trail together in 1852. Included in one of my most recommended books. These small pieces of life bring so much color to the history of the Oregon Trail!
