🎉🐾 SOUND THE BIRTHDAY ALARM! K9 LOKI IS TWO! 🎂🦴
Two year old, and full of energy, this busy boy is kicking off his big day!
Once on the euthanasia list, Loki got a second chance thanks to the heart and dedication of our very own Handler & the team Captain, Nick Fuentez🧡 Today, he’s thriving and continues his training to becoming an HDR-certified K9, helping bring answers and closure to families in our community. 🐾🔎
From a second chance to a future hero, Loki is proof that great things come in furry packages! 🧡
🎈 Drop a 🐾 or 🎉 in the comments to wish this future hero a happy birthday!

The Kern County Sheriff’s Bakersfield Search and Rescue Team is reaching out to our community and local restaurants for support. Over the next 12 nights, from Sept. 23rd to Oct. 4th, our team will be patrolling the parking lots at the Kern County Fair. Our team consists of 13 dedicated volunteer members who typically arrive for their 6-hour shifts right after finishing their full-time day jobs. As you can imagine, stopping to grab food or preparing meals ahead of time can be difficult.

If you or your business would like to contribute by providing a meal for our team on one of these nights, we would greatly appreciate it. We can arrange for either pick up or drop-off—whatever is most convenient for you. Anything you are able to offer truly helps and means much to us. Please message if interested.

Thank you for your kindness and support.
