This morning, our officers and Community Relations Unit joined a few churches for National Faith & Blue weekend. 💙 This initiative gives us a chance to sit down with our neighbors, listen, and get to know one another — with our church partners helping bring us together. These conversations help build the trust and relationships that make our community stronger and safer.

Thank you to our church partners for welcoming us into your Sunday services and to everyone who spent part of their morning with us. We loved connecting with you over conversation, donuts, and coffee! ☕️🍩

We are proud to serve and give back to our community, starting on day one. One of the ways we do so is by partnering with the Healthy Room Project. If you'd like help with this initiative, reach out to us at [email protected].

Thank you to IKEA for their donation and part in creating a healthy and positive environment for local families. We're grateful to partner with Healthy Room Project and others to make connections around our community.

For their first day, these newly graduated Bakersfield Police Officers spent the day giving back to our community through The Healthy Room Project. The academy graduates helped personalize these homes with new paint, lighting fixtures, furniture and more.

At BPD, we believe service starts on day one. The participation in the Healthy Room Project is a tradition for academy graduates and BPD Personnel. We appreciate the opportunity to give back to the families we serve.
