A Third Friday Market favorite activity is returning on August 21! The community is invited to a water fight with the Baldwin City Fire Department outside the fire station!
Water guns are welcome, but water balloons are not allowed.
This year, they've added an inflatable fire hydrant sprinkler!

Outdoor burning is prohibited in the unincorporated areas of Douglas County today. Very high rangeland fire danger is in place mostly due to dry fuels, strong southern winds which will make any fires difficult to control. Call 911 if you see fire or smoke, check on any previous burns and extinguish, be safe!

Reminder: Baldwin City follows the Douglas County burn ban structure, so an active county burn ban means no burning allowed inside city limits, even if you have a permit.
