On Thursday, November 5, from 3:30–5pm, our Veterans Group will visit Time for You Playcare to speak with afterschool students about their military experiences, time in service, and how those experiences have shaped who they are today.

We are looking for veterans who would enjoy sharing their experiences and connecting with the next generation. As the students will include children as young as 5, volunteers should be comfortable speaking with young children and sharing stories in a calm, patient, and approachable manner. Stories and discussion topics should be appropriate for a mixed-age audience.

🇺🇸👟 LACE UP FOR VETERANS: SARATOGA COUNTY’S REVOLUTIONARY RUN

Run through history while supporting those who served! Join the Saratoga County Veterans Service Agency for the 14th Annual Revolutionary Run for Veterans, benefiting the Saratoga County Veterans Trust Fund. This is an incredibly popular event showcasing the region’s rightful place as “America’s turning point.”

📍 Fort Hardy Park, Schuylerville
👟 5K race and a free children’s Fun Run following the 5K

The scenic course follows the historic towpath to Hudson Crossing Park and along the Hudson River before returning to Fort Hardy Park for refreshments and ceremonies.

Proceeds help support Veterans with training, education, health care, housing and essential services. It’s an opportunity to bring family and friends together and put your appreciation for All Who Served into action. ❤️

Veterans can register at the discounted rate of $17.76 using code Veteran250.

Led by the Saratoga County Veterans Service Agency and supported by the Saratoga County NY Government Board of Supervisors, the event also recognizes partners Saratoga County Veterans Peer Connection, FC4 Events and Battles of Saratoga 250.
