1 Day, 2 awesome opportunities to check out our newly upgraded facilities – did we mention it’s FREE?

Join us this Saturday, October 17th for family-friendly events that invite you to experience our recently renovated facilities at no cost.

The first Fish Tales of the season is just a week away! 🐟🎨

Bring your little ones to The Pointe next Thursday for story time, a craft/experiment and a light snack, then finish the morning with pool time at Little Splashers 🏊

Guardians must accompany their child the entire time of the program including being in the water actively supervising their child in Little Splashers. This program will meet October 22nd, November 12th, and December 10th.

Price is per child, guardians are free! Pre-registration is required and closes 2 days prior to the event.

REMINDER: You can still pick up a pumpkin sign to decorate from The Pointe! 🎃🪧

Get yours through this Friday and submit the decorated sign by Monday (10/19) to be included in our Great Pumpkin Walk, where community members can see all the pumpkin creations and vote on their favorites 🏆

Be there if you dare 👻 for Halloween Hullabaloo on October 23rd!

Stop by The Pointe next Friday from 5:30 - 8:00 pm for all the FREE festive fun 🍫🍬 This spook-tacular event will be full of ghoulish good times, with crafts, activities, candy, and more!

Kids can also enjoy bounce houses and games, plus live entertainment in the gym starting at 7pm featuring Oh My Gosh Josh and Circus Kaput 🎪

We’ll also have a Chili Tasting outside and Glow Pumpkin Plunge at the indoor pool starting at 5:30 pm 🎃🏊 so there’s something for the whole family!

Do you know what to do in a breathing or cardiac emergency? That knowledge could help you save a life! 🫀

In this blended learning format class on October 25th, we will certify you in First Aid, CPR, AED, and bloodborne pathogens training for adults, children, and infants. 🩹❤️‍🩹

Online content will be sent out 1 week prior to the in-person meeting. Participants must complete the online content before the scheduled in-person meeting time and show proof of completion.

The Ballwin Parks and Recreation Department is an authorized provider with the American Red Cross and follows all American Red Cross policies. This course is taught on a pass/fail basis. All meeting dates and times are mandatory – no exceptions can be made. All class meetings will occur at The Ballwin Pointe meeting rooms.

Come join us October 17th from 10 am - 12 pm to check out the newly redone Public Works facility and the new Parks Maintenance facility!

Here, you can check out all the cool trucks & equipment used by the City (feel free to bring the kids!) 🛻🚜

🌱 You’ll also be able to decorate a pot and plant a seed, and there will be a fall craft! 🍂

The City of Ballwin recently completed a $4.4 million renovation and redesign for these facilities, using money from the City’s infrastructure fund with no impact on the general fund reserve, no debt and no new tax.

Be there this Saturday for FREE family fun and activities at these upgraded city facilities!
