Thank You to Our Incredible Volunteers 🇺🇸
On September 12, 2026, we proudly commemorated the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks with a successful Carry The Load: National Day of Service and Remembrance at Baltimore and Annapolis National Cemeteries.

More than 100 volunteers came together in a powerful act of service and remembrance. Throughout the morning, they cleaned and realigned headstones in Section P of Baltimore National Cemetery and at Annapolis National Cemetery—giving their time and energy to honor those who served and sacrificed for our nation.

Today was a powerful reminder that service doesn't end when the uniform comes off. To every volunteer who came out—thank you. Whether you cleaned a headstone, aligned one with a bump stick, assisted with the event, or simply showed up ready to serve, please know your efforts made a real difference. Each of you played a meaningful part in honoring those who served, those we lost, and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

🇺🇸 Progress in Section J 🇺🇸

We're excited to let you know about the great progress happening in Section J at Baltimore National Cemetery! Big things are underway, and we are working hard on a raise and realign project to make sure every headstone is perfectly straight and aligned.

Just recently, we finished a full vegetation kill across the section, and up next we'll be replacing the old turf with fresh, new sod for a beautiful, restored look. It's truly rewarding work, and we're thrilled to share every step of this journey with you. Stay tuned for more updates! 🇺🇸
