Our crew transported the patient from Mary Washington’s Level II Trauma Center to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for continued specialized trauma care. From referring facility to definitive care, critical care transport helps connect patients with the resources they need when time and capability matter most.

When adverse weather conditions impact flight planning, ExpressCare 1’s IFR capability provides additional options to safely complete patient transports when conditions permit. This added capability enhances operational flexibility while keeping safety at the forefront of every mission.
