🎉 Huge news for Baltimore history! 🏛️✨

We are thrilled to announce that First & Franklin Presbyterian Church has been awarded a $480,381 grant from the National Fund for Sacred Places (a program of Partners for Sacred Places in collaboration with the National Trust for Historic Preservation)!

Out of 466 applicants nationwide, First & Franklin was chosen as one of just 30 recipients in the 2026 cohort. This critical funding will help restore and preserve our iconic brownstone spire, the tallest in all of Baltimore!

Thank you to everyone who supports our mission and heritage. Learn more about this exciting milestone and our restoration project below:

🕵️‍♂️ Calling All History Detectives & Genealogy Buffs! 🔎
We need your help to solve a 150-year-old mystery!

The Maryland Military Department's Museum holds an extraordinary, one-of-a-kind treasure: a collection of historic soldier photographs. While we have a full list of names for these Maryland heroes, we can't match the names to their faces and it’s high time we fix that.

Your Mission:
Help the Maryland Center of Military History (MCMH) put names to these faces and reconnect these historic photos with the personal stories of the soldiers who lived them.

Put your detective skills to work and help us honor these local heroes!
