On Nov 3, Baltimore City voters will have the opportunity to approve four bond questions that would let the City borrow up to $280 million total for affordable housing, schools, economic development, and public infrastructure (Questions A–D).

Bonds let the City borrow money for large-scale projects and pay it back over time from future revenues, kind of like using a mortgage to purchase a home and paying it off over time.

✨ Community, Connections, & Growth: Meet Randolph Smith! ✨

Meet Randolph Smith! Randolph is a Masters of Social Work major at Morgan State University who brings a strong understanding of storytelling, connection, and community impact to the table.
In his BESI interview, Randolph offers a thoughtful look at how family, friends, and opportunity intersect to shape a young person's journey. He also highlights the tangible impact of local governance—sharing how the work, programs, and public spaces championed by elected officials in his district directly supported his growth and personal aspirations.
Randolph’s insights show what’s possible when local leadership invests directly in the spaces and programs that nourish our youth.
