Awesome things are happening in Ms. Greene’s 5th grade! Students learned about the purpose of a paintbrush and different techniques artists use with different types of paintbrushes to create their own interpretations of space and the galaxy. After students learned about paint brushes, they were introduced to different artists and their “space art”. They learned how artists, since the beginning of time, used storytelling, technology, photographs, and their own culture to paint the sky. Finally, students created their own sky paintings.
