In recognition of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), we're highlighting ABLE to Work, a provision that allows eligible working Maryland ABLE account holders to contribute additional money to their accounts beyond the standard annual contribution limit.

In 2026, eligible working account holders can contribute up to an additional $15,650 from their earnings, beyond the standard $20,000 annual contribution limit. That means more opportunities to build savings, plan for future expenses and work toward greater financial independence.
