💚 BEMS GOES LIME GREEN FOR MENTAL HEALTH! 💚
On Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School proudly partnered with the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) for our GO LIME GREEN: Mental Health Matters events!
The Go Lime Green initiative promotes mental health awareness, encourages open conversations, and helps normalize talking about mental health in our school and community.
💚 Mental Fitness & ME: Mrs. Meg Pitts of NAMI South Carolina delivered meaningful presentations to our 7th and 8th grade students. Following the presentations, students signed a green banner, pledging their commitment to the message that MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS!
🏈 Lime Green on the Field: Our football players showed their support by wearing lime green socks, while our cheerleaders sported lime green glitter bows! NAMI also provided families and fans with lime green swag and valuable mental health resources.
🏆 A Special Recognition: During halftime, Mrs. Pitts presented BEMS with a plaque officially recognizing our school as a GO LIME GREEN Mental Health Matters School in honor of our commitment to mental health education for our students, staff, and families!
💚 A very special THANK YOU to our outstanding school counselor, Mrs. Leigh Ann Osborne, for coordinating this meaningful initiative and helping make the day such a success!
At BEMS, we believe that supporting mental health is just as important as supporting academic success. Together, we are building a school community where everyone feels seen, supported, and valued!
❤️🖤💚 ONE TEAM SUCCEEDING TOGETHER!
