Bamberg, we’re preparing for growth! 💙💛

As we move toward a stronger, growing, and more vibrant City of Bamberg, we want our community to be informed and prepared.

Beginning October 5, 2026, a 2% Hospitality Tax will take effect on prepared meals and beverages sold within the City of Bamberg.

You may notice that the price of some meals and beverages is a little higher. We understand that every additional cost matters. However, this investment will help support community events, downtown improvements, and projects designed to bring people into Bamberg and strengthen the local businesses we all enjoy.

Our goal is simple: growth that benefits Bamberg.

As we continue Reinvisioning & ReInventing our city, your support of our local restaurants, cafés, bakeries, caterers, mobile vendors, and other businesses is more important than ever.

Shop Local. Dine Local. Explore Local. Support Local.

Ness Sports Complex
Foster Park
Cricket Park
The Berm
City Parking Lots
