Bamberg County Public Library is seeking a full-time Library Clerk to join our staff! If you have strong communication, interpersonal, and technology skills and enjoy helping others, we’d love to hear from you.

40 hours/week • $13.74/hour + benefits

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our very first Fit Lit Club book discussion! ❤️

We had such a great time talking, laughing, sharing thoughts, and getting to know one another as we discussed Killers of a Certain Age by Deanna Raybourn. What began as a book on our reading list quickly became an evening filled with conversation, connection, and community—and that’s exactly what we hoped Fit Lit Club could be.

We’re so grateful to everyone who showed up, shared their thoughts, listened to others, and helped make our first discussion such a fun and welcoming experience. Your enthusiasm is what makes programs like this possible!

Here’s to good books, good conversation, good company, and finding new ways to keep moving—both physically and mentally.

We can’t wait to see where Fit Lit Club takes us next!

UPDATE: We’re sorry to share that our S’more Stories: Stuffie Sleepover program has been cancelled.

The event coordinator isn’t quite at 100% right now, and we’ve made the decision to postpone the program rather than hold it when we can’t give our families and little stuffed friends the experience they deserve.

We sincerely apologize for the change, especially to those who had already registered and were looking forward to this cozy evening of stories, s’mores, and stuffed-animal fun. ❤️

The good news is that this is a postponement—not a goodbye! We plan to reschedule S’more Stories: Stuffie Sleepover for a later date and will share the new date and registration information as soon as it is available.

Thank you so much for your understanding, patience, and continued support of the Bamberg County Public Library. We hope to see you and your stuffies at a future program!

Day 1: LEARN — Get familiar with the tiles, setup, rules, and basics of the game.
