We have been monitoring the weather along with all of the officials in the county all week. As the models keep changing, there’s the possibility of significant ice accumulations; along with, snow accumulations also. This could be a significant event, and you need to be as prepared as you possibly can. Be prepared for power outages and have a source of back up heat. DO NOT have generators inside the home; or garage, itself. We will be assisting EMS and any other agency extract patients to awaiting EMS units. Please be patient, getting to you could take a while. Also, let dispatch know if the patient is able to walk, and sit up due to 4x4’s, or side by sides, could be the means of transportation. PLEASE, if it’s not an emergency, don’t call 911. This ties up resources up that could be needed on a true emergency event. We are here to assist, but if you are able to sit it out at home, that’s the safest place for you! STAY SAFE AND BE PREPARED
