⚠️Beach & Dune Safety: Whether walking or driving on the beach, use extra caution. Storm conditions may leave debris along the shoreline or hidden beneath the sand. Dunes may also be unstable due to erosion. Stay off dunes, avoid damaged areas, and watch for debris and other hazards.
⛵ Currituck Sound: A Low Water Advisory remains in effect through noon Tuesday, with unusually low water levels creating hazardous boating conditions. Gale Warnings also remain in effect through Wednesday.
☀️ The good news? The forecast is looking much drier this week, with mostly sunny skies and lower humidity! Just remember, better weather doesn't mean coastal hazards are over.
Stay weather aware, make sure you have multiple ways to receive alerts, and never drive through flooded roadways.
