Commissioner Christopher Lauzon

It was good to hear from incumbents and candidates for office in West Barnstable this evening. This is what our society is all about - free and fair exchange of ideas and, ultimately, allowing the people to decide who is best to lead us forward in each of these important positions.

As someone who has stood behind that podium myself, I certainly appreciate everyone who made the time to be there. Thank you West Barnstable Civic Association for always putting on a great forum. 👍🇺🇸

Adam Hogue for County Commissioner

I am extremely disappointed in Shawn Oliver, but thankful he did not get seriously injured or injure anyone else. I expect him to be held fully accountable for his actions and receive whatever help he needs.

This statement from Mike Minogue for Governor proves exactly why we need him: instead of making excuses, he will hold people accountable - regardless of party.

Please join me in electing a new kind of governor by voting for Mike Minogue on November 3rd 👍🇺🇸

Happy to spend some time today knocking doors for my friend Adam Hogue for County Commissioner.

All of Barnstable County will benefit from Adam's steady approach to the challenges we face, his fresh perspective and common sense solutions.

Please join me in electing a new voice to County government by voting for Adam Hogue on November 3rd. 👍🇺🇸

Frank Frederickson has dedicated his life to public service.

For the last two years, we have been privileged in Barnstable to have him as our representative on the County Assembly of Delegates.

Frank uses his sound judgment to make decisions that will benefit our entire community. If you live in Barnstable, please join me in re-electing my friend Frank Frederickson on November 3rd. He deserves our support! 👍🇺🇸

In a free society, we have the right to host events and discuss political beliefs, no matter who agrees or disagrees. What has happened to Montano's restaurant in Truro after renting space to Republican candidates is disgraceful and unacceptable.

What's worse is the silence of our elected officials - particularly State Senator Julian Cyr, a proud native of Truro. Why are you not condemning this behavior against a local business owner? Why are you not standing up for free speech? I shouldn't be surprised. When your supporters hurled insults and false accusations towards me and one of my volunteers collecting signatures in Provincetown in 2024, you stood by and said nothing. You are a coward.

I'll be heading to Montano's for dinner soon. I encourage everyone to do the same. Senator Cyr can reach out if he wants to join me and stand up for free speech. 🇺🇸

Update: To his credit, Senator Cyr has now made comments condemning the threats made against Montano's.

A Cape Cod restaurant has been inundated by online threats and harassment, even a hoax 911 call resulting in a massive emergency response, in retaliation for hosting a Republican fundraising event.

We need a new Governor in Massachusetts. I supported Brian Shortsleeve for Massachusetts in the primary. Once Mike Minogue for Governor was our nominee, I fully shifted my support to the Minogue/Oliver ticket. That's why I made the motion for a formal endorsement at the last meeting of the Barnstable Republican Town Committee.

Let's work together to elect a new kind of governor and make Massachusetts better for all! 👍🇺🇸
