It would be great to work with Michael Boutin again!

It was great catching up with former Barre Mayor Lucas Herring last night at an event hosted by the Mutuo.

I had the privilege of serving alongside Lucas on the Barre City Council, and I always appreciated the opportunity to work with him on behalf of our community.

Lucas is now running for State Representative on both the Democratic and Republican as a fusion candidate for Northfield. I have always believed good government comes from people who are willing to work together even when they don't agree. There were times we disagreed and yet, I would count him as a great friend.

I enjoyed serving with Lucas on the City Council, and I hope I get the opportunity to serve alongside him again under the Golden Dome!

Northfield and Berlin friends and neighbors,

A reminder that Tuesday, August 11th is this year's primary. There are TWO State Representative seats that are up for election this year, meaning that you can place TWO names on your ballot.

Please consider one of your votes for LUCAS J. HERRING.

From those of you that I have spoken to, you have stated that affordability, housing, healthcare, and education are your main concerns. If I receive your support during this primary, I plan to spend more of my time reaching out to residents and listening to your concerns leading up to the November election.

During my years of public service - whether this be over 25 years in State government, over a decade on school boards, or over a decade on City Council - my priorities have been set based on those that I represent. I encourage all of you to please reach out with the concerns you would like to see addressed in the next biennium of the legislature. I look forward to the opportunity of serving you as your representative.
